The Way I Am.
I'm trying to be,
Trying to be,
Who you want to see.
My dreams.
They are too much for you.
You want me to be like,
Everyone else,
It seems.
I have hopes.
But, I might as well,
Store them in envelopes.
They don't matter to you.
You tell me to be myself.
But, who do you want that to be?
Because, it most definitely,
Doesn't seems like me.
