Jellyfish
The kings and queens of the vast blue,
Indifferent to all that come by,
Yet illuminating the dark with soft shades and hues,
Leaving the world to wonder and sigh,
These gods of thunder sizzle and shock,
Their lightning bolts sparked the sea,
So don’t seek to mock,
Better to just leave them be,
However, if you ever visit in the late hour,
You’ll discover a thrilling secret:
Within each jellyfish is a jewel of great power,
But beware of slimy stings if you dare to speak of it.
