Buddha's waiting lessons
Can you remember what you thought,
what you told me in the rain,
warned me as the storms came.
Remember the secrets you whispered?
remember when you smiled like a father,
As like a child,
I whimpered.
I remember when i forgot,
and left my mind's savor to rot,
but some how,
you still loved me.
Now you come back,
from ancient times,
and across the sea
To remind me of the secrets,
whispered to me.
I promise I'll smile back now.
I promise I'll follow advise now,
now that I'm better.
Because you remained somehow,
in my heart,
in my soul,
in my mind,
I remember now.
