Harmony
I stretched
My body
Was sore
It ached for comfort,
Familiarity.
I leaned against
My muscles
Pulling them
Towards normality
Back to what once was
My reality.
They screamed.
My mind
Lay confused
My body hummed
In frustration
And my muscles
Simply refused.
I tried to mediate;
Negotiate.
But clearly
They held disdain
Old grudges
For each other.
Cooperation was a dream,
Long forgotten
The day I decided
To return
To the harmony
I once had.
