Carry me
strongly, surely, quickly
through the forests,
and ‘cross the plains.
Carry me
strongly, surely, quickly
‘til I may lay my burden down.

Carry me
speedily, stealthily, powerfully
through the deserts,
betwixt the trees.
Carry me
speedily, stealthily, powerfully
‘til I may lay my burden down.

Carry me
swiftly, safely, always
over the mountains,
through the valleys.
Carry me
swiftly, safely, always
‘til I may lay my burden down.

Unlike most of my writing this poem was not composed on a computer of piece of paper, but while I was running through trails and towns.
