Sleep me bye bye
Ill just be a ghost of society
Run down and thrown away like another nobody.
Rejected from the herd I once called home
I walk alone on this barren earth.
A faint memory of warmth and compassion
around your scent that keep me steady.
Steering to your magnetic personality,
I became attached.
Becoming obsessed to the love I was shown,
I didn't want to let it go.
Within the day you became glued to me
Within the minute you stood farther apart.
Within a second you were gone.
By the time I reached out you weren't mine
Dead and and broken I crawled on my knees
The most pathetic state you could ever see,
I was tossed away like yesterdays forgotten dream.
Away, away I vanish, into the distance where I have fallen.
Into the sunsets last goodbye.
The sands of time have stopped my life.
A last dream to put me a sleep tonight.
I whisper to the moon,
my last breath dies.
