Never too many rays of sun do shine
Or needles on the soaring pine
Never too many waves in the ocean blue
Or evergreen blades atop with dew
I’ll never live to see the day
When all around me voices say
Too much pink in the evening sky
Too many clouds passing by
From my love I’ll never flee
Or say he means Too much to me
I feel that in the heart’s dear glow
Passion must be free to grow
