I Want You
You have no idea how much thinking about you hurts
It burns like fire deep in my hear
It sizzles like an egg on the sidewalk
It steams like veggies in a pot
Reading your letters is like a drug
It really only numbs my want
I want to hear your laugh
I want to see your smile
I want to see your gorgeous eyes disappear like stars
A picture, a letter, a voice clip
They are simple, technological
They are mere replicas of you
I want to see you
I want to hear you
I want you to laugh at some stupid thing I say
To smile at me in the halls
Even just once
Just so I know you are real and not just my imagination
But more than anything, I want to hear your smile
