Watch the skies
I can hear her screamin
I still hear her cryin
She sayin that she fine
But I know she lyin
Her chest burns with hurt
Her soul aches with pain
She tells herself she crazy
She thinks she’s insane
She looks in the mirror and like what she sees
But when she turns back she thinks she looks diseased
Some tell her she’s pretty
Others says she’s ugly
She’s so confused
“Does anybody love me?”
She can’t see that she’s ok
And that she’s beautiful in every way
And when her head is filled with lies
She just gotta lift her head up and watch the skies.
