If I don’t push, pull me back.
If I don’t pull, let me go.
My sodden eyes, my heart, my lips.
My Daughter, Blessed Daughter!
Pushing away, falling apart like sounds,
The sounds I can only feel before the nerve dies.

My Daughter! Help thy Father!
The man who gave you life!
Has it been thus?
And such a life that death does seem relief?
I do not need this! I have my ledge!
My Crumbly, Crumbly Ledge…

I’m falling! Catch me!
I’m falling! Leave me be!
Push away the Daughter!
Push away the ledge!
I’m falling!
I’m failing!
I’m jumping….
