Heaven Above Us
The midnight sky,
So high,
Above the town,
That sleeps below.
None know that,
Above them the moon,
And stars watch over,
Them in silence.
The midnight sky,
Darkened by the day,
Strengthened by the night,
They make you feel right.
There once used to be,
Myths about things you can't see.
Stuck in your mind, you can't fix,
Images of the lovely Goddess Nyx.
Moon and stars are your,
Guides to do your chores,
To get you where you want,
These guides you don't taunt.
Without a moon and stars,
The world could never be ours,
They show us light,
At the scariest time of night.
