Darkness
DARKNESS
Walking a never ending road,
Fighting something you can’t see,
Searching but you don’t know what you’re supposed to find,
Running a race you’ve already won,
Crying but you have no reason to,
Being confused when the problem is simple,
Looking a blank page but what are you suppose to see,
Fear and darkness are like invisible chains, they keep you from accomplishing, from trying, from turning on a light, from getting on a ride.
CHANGING.
Suddenly you see the darkness being conquered,
The sun rise that begins a new day.
The feeling of a volcano erupting,
The quite before a violent storm,
A slight movement before an earthquake,
The rain before a flood,
A circulation before a hurricane.
RENEWED
A feeling of a new you, a new life, a better opportunity, another chance to be a better person.
But it’s only a new day and not the end.
