Her...
I don't get jealous very easily,
but when you talk about her
and your past Friday together,
the muscles of my hand tend to loosen,
and I want to let go.
Every time you send her that text,
my neck tenses and I tell myself to pick my head up,
but my heart won't let me.
Jealousy keeps trying its hardest to take over,
but I won't let it,
and neither will you.
The way you look at me brings my confidence back,
Just as fast as it left,
I let my grip get tighter,
and my neck loosen.
Why spend time thinking about her,
when you're sitting right next to me,
holding my hand,
and letting me rest my head on your shoulder?
Just love me now, tomorrow, and forever.
