Growing up
You start out like a seed,
Feeling like you can lead.
You then begin to grow,
Like a child with a bow.
You then become a bud,
Roots dug into the mud.
You then turn into a flower,
Like a big tall tower.
Time goes on,
Living on a lawn.
But the wind starts to chill,
Like it wants to kill.
But your petals start to drop,
Even though you want to stop.
Your stem begins to weep,
Petals drawn into a heap.
Your roots start to die,
Even though you want to lie.
You are beginning to die.
