i stop and stare at the world around me looking for my home
I'm amazed by the beauty
as i walk by, the leaves begin to sing
within their song lies their secrets of their beauty and the changing of the colors
as i keep walking the brook chimes in and begins to say how fun it is to run along the rocks and splash with the fish
i go a little farther and the trees begin to dance and i marvel at their grace
i look up at the stars and they smile at me
their smile is warm and welcoming to me
i stop and listen to the leaves and the brook sing and watch the trees dance and stare at the smile of the stars and realize I've been home all along.
