I am a flutist
I am
I am a Flutist
I wonder if I will ever be a professional
I hear all the other instruments
I see Mrs. Hipshire’s baton conducting
I want to get gold in ISSMA
I am a flutist
I pretend to play my flute like I’m on a deserted island all by myself
I feel the vibration of my air under my fingers
I touch the sliver keys
I worry that I will mess up badly in front of everyone
I cry when I snap my flute case closed for the day
I am a flutist
I understand that I can’t always get gold
I say give a hundred percent every day
I dream I will become a professional
I try to play my best
I hope I will get to be a magnificent flute player soon
I am a flutist
