Too Late
Hurry, you're running out of time,
Your actions are causing her pain,
Because what you're doing isn't right.
At night she cries,
She cries for you,
All in cause of your worthless lies.
She's not 5 anymore,
She will understand,
Tell her before the pain builds up even more,
How long has it been since you told her "I love you"?
Too long to remember isn't it?
And still you wonder why she won't say "I love you too"?
You're not too late,
Her wounds can still heal,
But hurry her love is becoming hate.
You made a mistake,
You left without saying goodbye,
And that's the biggest a father can make.
One year,
Two years,
Four years...
Her love has turned into hate,
You had plenty of time,
But now you're too late.
