My Greatest Opponent
Everyone has closed their eyes on me,
And I’ve been left alone to bleed,
I feel a demon breathing beside me,
Slowly taking my heart beat…
I’ve allowed the crows to break through,
And to cover my sky of blue,
Converted into a sheet of darkness,
Falling over my world,
Thus dead and heartless…
The power of a mirror haunts me,
For my reflection defies me,
I'm lost without a leash,
But in chains like a beast,
There is no king,
But there is a fight in the ring…
Life goes on,
But mine stayed here,
The battle goes on,
Until one disappears…
I entered the warrior’s ring,
With gloves that left my life a dent,
There was a mirror in the middle,
I stepped forward to face my greatest opponent.
