Exist
I see you crying
I see you screaming, wishing
It was all a lie
Lying, thinking, wanting
To die
I see the screwed up words
And the things you endure
Can never match up to the things
You are sure are just there
To show you
These thoughts are obscure
They’re just here to assure you
That you are unheard
I know that the insults
They spit from their mouths
Don’t come with results
They expected to come out
And we’re all adults
But can’t keep our mouths closed
Long enough to hear the uneven pulse..
..Of the girl with cuts on her wrists
Not trying to live, just trying to exist
