Diamonds Blue
Sparkling shining
Oh so amazing
Crystal clear
And always knowing
Diamonds blue
Blue as the bright sky
Deep as the never-ending sea
Staring in
I get so lost
The past present future
Are set in stone
I see them here
In those beautiful jewels
The engraving is difficult
So scratchy and foreign
From another world
But somehow understood
For half a second
My view disappears
Behind soft delicate curtains
And panic fills the heart
But then they return
As swiftly as they left
And leave again soon after
Almost like magic
Almost like a dream
But so very real
Suddenly I see them no more
They have vanished
The heart falters
And skips a beat
The curtains have closed
Set to open tomorrow
For every other second
Now I see nothing
In the silent night
And ‘til tomorrow I shall wait
To see the
Sparkling shining
Oh so amazing
Crystal clear
And always knowing
Diamonds blue
