Fishing









Along the river






In the shade




On a giant gray rock




In which I sat




I cast my line





Into the river






The pull tugs forward






I pick it up






I rill it in






But get nothing







I cast my line again





I almost fall asleep





But a jerk of my pull wakes me




I rill more hopeful than before






And finally my patience pays off






I caught a fish
