So, you think that everything isn’t as it seems?
Really?
Totally cliched.
. . . Totally right, actually.
Funny how that works, isn’t it?
How all is not something because it’s something that you could never have anticipated?
God’s funny that way isn’t he?
Or, I guess if you don’t believe in God, nature is funny that way.
Or fate.
Or . . . what?
Whatever you believe in, I guess.
This probably doesn’t make much sense, what I’m doing.
I don’t even know, and I’m the one typing.
Just . . . putting my thoughts onto paper, I guess.
Or the screen.
Whatever.
To go back to my original thought . . .
Wait a sec, it’s gone.
Disappeared.
Poof.

Just like that.

I hate my brain.
