Within Reach
I can see it
Reach my hand out and brush my fingertips against its surface
Close my eyes and feel it
The inevitable feelings, the impossibility of its existence
But i cannot grasp it
cannot wrap my hand around it
Cannot bring it within myself to accept it
a wall of glass
separates
The soul, the heart, the mind
A wall of distance
a reflection
of what i want to see
Now if only i could get
to where i so long to be
And stay, instead of slowly
