How Important We Are
Hands.
Have you ever thought what hands give us?
They give us a mother’s comfort,
A father’s discipline,
A grandmother’s sorrow,
A grandfather’s wisdom,
A lover’s touch.
Eyes.
Have you ever thought what eyes give us?
They give us a mother’s protection,
A father’s expression,
A grandmother’s love,
A grandfather’s character,
A lover’s life.
Lips.
Have you ever thought what lips give us?
They give us a mother’s soft voice,
A father’s harsh yell,
A grandmother’s everlasting stories,
A grandfather’s tales,
A lover’s sweet kiss.
Why then, do we abuse these things?
Why do we only use our hands to touch?
Why do we only use our eyes to look?
Why do we only use our lips to talk?
Don’t just touch, feel.
Don’t just look, see.
Don’t just talk, say something.
Realize how important you are.
