I need not the Sun
I awake to thy face glazed with morning shine.
Our bodies so close, my legs intertwining thine.
I wriggle a little from thy grasp to grasp this pen.
It's purpose not yet known to me by then.
I begin to write, whilst thou bathe in the Sun.
Thou dost illumine my soul, as thou our day,
nay,
the melody of our lives have just begun,
to play.
The past is the light that guides our way,
sunlight which we take our lessons from,
But the Sun doth fall, within memories of thee my light will stay,
and I know darkness shall never come.
