The Worst is Over

Is this all in my head?
If so, I wish I could take back everything I said.
I can't possibly imagine how you dealt with me -
but now, I promise, it'll be better, you'll see.
I just hope it isn't past too late -
are there enough pieces that remain?
Because, honey, there's no life without you -
and I swear I'll change - I swear it's true.
You can't not believe me -
I've never lied before.
And it's you that I need, so please -
Don't slam the door.
