Our differences aren't so different
Why can't we all just get along?
What makes us so different-
So different that we can't make each other strong?
Why can we only tear each other down? Make each other weak?
What's the use?
How many questions like this have been asked?
How many answered?
Finding solutions- though temporary seem to be the task
of only the "Peacemaker".
No more.
No more should this be the same.
This is a challenge for ALL of us to claim.
We're all to blame.
Should colors tear us apart?
Do they tear apart the golden sun and the crystal blue sky?
No.
Should background send everything tumbling down?
Does it demolish the ties between the Oak trees- that came from one tiny seed- from the birds of the air- who hatched from an egg?
No.
Should the things we believe make us enemies?
Does it turn the Robin that believes to sing against the River that believes to babble?
No.
We're all humans. Why can't we see?
That maybe, just maybe- our differences aren't so different.
