Alone In her room,
Music Blasting,
Floor bouncing,
TV on'
Window open'
Phone Ringing.

She's tall with a soft rich,
Mocha skin tone
Smart and funny with a lustrous smile.
She laugh is infectious,
She IS beautiful by standard.
Boys adore her.
Girls envy her.

Perfect Picture right?
Do you see what really going on?
Look closer.....

On the inside she's dying'
But she smiling on the out
Exuding confidence.
When no one really knows what her,
Life is all about.

Her silence is
Others mirth
Her pain is wistfully their joy.

The blade is her way out'
and now this lonely young girl'
Is no more

The author's comments:
I wrote this because i found out my best friend was cutting herself and it sacred me to death. This is how i thought it would end for her so i wrote this poem and showed to her so she'd know that this is what cutting can do.

Thank you so much! I am 17 now and this comment means a lot to me thank you for your feedback and I'll to post some more. As for my friend she is doing a lot better we got her some help and she's recovering.

Well, i first wanted to say I read youre only 15 in your about me, and this writing is pretty incredible for being so young. Secondly, i hope your friend is okay and tell her she's not alone. make sure to stick by her side, because she needs it more than anything regardless of what she says. anyway, keep writing and keep up the good work!
