on dark and gloomy nights
March 2, 2011
On dark and gloomy nights there is a fight
Or a war has happened or taking place.
The lightning covers it up
And the thunder sounds it out.
Helpless people die
While little children cry.
The war will be over soon
But that is just a lie.
So lie down in your bed and dream of happy thoughts
So goodnight my children and the night will be all right.

I'm sorry your dad is in Iraq. Writting is good though, it helps let out all the stuff you are holding in. Keep writing dude, this is good!
