Carlasia
She looks at me, with innocence in her eyes
In her eyes there is unhappiness and she looks to me
There is no one to protect her eyes
And yet she looks to me
I start to feel a strange feeling
Way inside my soul
She looks at me, as if I were another about to let her go
She holds my hand, tightly, rigidly, trembling
My lips are unable to part
No words can come to justify what is written in my heart
I want her for my own and I know that she wants me
I kneel down, look into her eyes and place a kiss upon her cheek
Patience is the key
There is no way I could abandon you
Be we have to wait with time
I would take you home today if I could
One day you will be mines
Promise me, she says, a promise you can keep
Tell me the truth
Don’t lie to me today
I promise you Carlasia
You will be mines one day
She smiled and hugged me with contentment in her eyes
But still there is an emptiness, a mist a of misery
Reserved for our goodbyes
