Death of the Heart
Sadness rips through me
I want nothing but death
Pain is my only friend
It stays with me in every breath
I think I am sick
I want nothing anymore
All my happy memories
Are left all over the floor.
I feel scared and alone
I cant count the tears I’ve shed
And, from my hands
Come the blood drops I’ve bled.
Living is dying
At least that’s what they say
So I guess I have to die
For that is the only way
Please don’t get me wrong
I don’t want to die
But death mustn’t be forgotten
So that we may all get by.
