Walking in that room ,

With the usual , " first day gloom ."

I wouldn't have believed it then ,

But my life changed , when I picked up a pen .



I knew you were different from any other teacher .

It was an odd picture .

You told me I was one of the best writers ,

I couldn't believe that it was my simple scripture .



It was your inspiring mind ,

That influenced mine .

I couldn't thank you anymore ,

Without you , my mind wouldn't soar .



So , my amazing year ,

Ended with so many tears .

I don't know how this school got along ,

Without you here .
