Loneliness is Infinite
The number of loneliness is one
One is the number of lonely
Solemnly sitting with its back turned
Single is how it feels
When you’re alone
When you’re the only one
It feels like a mountain
Of bricks are falling down on you
Even in a crowd
It feels like a shroud
Has been thrown over your head
One is the number of lonely
The number of loneliness is two
Two is the number of lonely
One lifetime seems to double
The ambiguous shadow of the population
Bifurcates itself
It swirls around like a couple
In a duet of mocking glory
Blurred is your vision
The world seems to fission
When lonely come to pass
Two is the number of lonely
The number of loneliness is one hundred
One hundred is the number of lonely
This is the number of times
In a single day
I am reminded of my stay
In the world of my creation
The words of other, and the feelings I get
Anything can make my mind
March along a path
That leads itself to destruction
One hundred steps ago
I was still too far gone
One hundred is the number of lonely
The number of loneliness is one million
One million is the number of lonely
These are the miles that seem to be
Between the world and me
The more I move
That farther it feels
Slippery surface of the sentient world
I slip into the deep
And the world starts to creep
With ants that were the people
Even when I try my hardest
I cannot close the distance
One million is the number of lonely
The number of loneliness is infinite
Infinite is the number of lonely
The longer I stay here
The harder it gets
To carry my burden in this darkness
Infinity seems to pass on by
While I wait for someone to catch me
The sliver of light
Sends through my nerves
A shiver of objection
My time down here
Has made me queer
I no longer long for connection
Infinite is the number of lonely
