Window Love
Open the window and let me in
Shine your light in the dark
I say Give me justice not your heart
It wasn’t me who left
You were gone from the start
You left me in the sun and you went to the dark
Can you tell me the reason your not here
You’ve left without a trace
There was no word of your departure
I wish you had never been part of me
I wish you had gone away and stayed
I wish I hadn’t cared if you were here of there
Outside in the rain you wait night and day
Hoping for the day that I would come out and play
Only you should know that I am gone
To live a life without love
Outside my window you wait
Sodden from the rain you wait for the day
That I would look out my window
And smile down at your heartbroken face
Though I am no longer there, you wait outside my window
