Inspiration from a turkey and cheese sandwich
Why do I like sandwiches so much?
I like them because they have
substance,
simplicity, and
harmony.
A sandwich’s structure is like life.
I like seeing the cross-section of the bread,
A block design that everyone can understand--
A thin outer layer seared and cured by the heat of the toaster..
The innards of
turkey and Muenster cheese
And the trace amount of mayo
Glues all the pieces together perfectly.
Compressed into a dense package of saran wrap,
all ready to be eaten—this is life.
