Consuming Rage
Waves crashed to the stony gates
Weathering away my stormy fate
Flickering lights, shaking walls the world comes tumbling down
With my hands in the air
I surrender to the night, so fair
Pushed to my limits, the levees break
Trapped inside screaming begging to be free
In my mind I know I do not deserve to be
The ocean works in mysterious ways
Tides rise and fall causing waves
So violent and destructive it could bring about a stand still
No more tears or screams or vile dreams
Just one thought to kill.
