diamond flower
I'm a flower, and your touch will wilt my petals.
Your eyes can blaze through the sun and therefore,
leave me cold and bare.
I'm a diamond, and your touch will demolish itself upon,
your first attempt.
Your eyes will go blind even when you take a quick glance.
Therefore, leaving you alone and questionable.
We are a diamond flower, and our touch will eventually penetrate through the world,
but not without a sting or burst of slight pain from our side, and
we might loose a petal or two, and maybe some thorns as well.
But our eyes will out stand the test of a stereotyped storm between love and hate.
Now this may seem easy at best but no, we are not at our best.
It will surely have obstacles, challenges, but
the one thing that I’m not certain of,
is a happy ending.
We are the diamond flower, or should I say we could be.
Take a second from your life in general.
Close your eyes and we will to.
Take a second from hate in general.
But this time open your eyes,
and we will too.
