Frozen

I can smile now
when you turn up your nose
I can shake my head
and roll my eyes
ha
my hands don't shake
anymore
you think you won
you think that I gave in
but you're wrong
I didn't have to
you aren't worth it
I can see that now
you had me blindfolded well
now I have untied it
and tossed it to the ground
to be stamped into the dirt
and forgotten
and then be frozen under the snow
you can't keep me tied up
any longer
the frost will never melt
again
