I whispered to the water
"Ask me a question please."
I listened contently
As the water didn't reply
A ripple in the water
Caught my attention
As I was waiting for an answer
I stood to see what caused it
But nothing was in sight
So I walked away from nothing
As I realized the truth
That water has no questions
Because water holds no youth.
