Kissing Pearls
Out in the Winter
A tan body of water waits
Up beside the water’s pale blue mouth
Two twin red roses bloom
On a cold snowy landscape
While inside the water’s mouth
Two rows of pearls lay,
Kissing each other quickly
Before pulling away.
Then deciding that one kiss wasn’t enough,
They come back together
In yet another sweet embrace.
