The rain has stopped and the oceans are still.
His treacherous storm of anger has drifted away.
My ship would have never made it through the night,
If the evil storm was not overcome by morning’s bright light.
The sun’s morning rays are warm against my skin,
And the smell of a new day helps me feel motivated to sail forward again.
Although my ship has been torn and tattered,
The storm was unable to destroy what really mattered.
The sail and the deck are no longer in optimal condition,
But the strong stern morning wind gives my boat exceptional rendition.
The soft morning breeze against my face gives my heart a sense of embrace,
And reminded me that I was out sailing in search of a beautiful place .
The smell of the salty water stimulates my senses to feel.
Now, I will finally be able to spot a treasure that is real.
