birds wings
When there is so much freedom you don’t even know what do with it. Like a bird that has been in its cage for all its life, never knowing if there was another world out there. I don’t know what to do anymore. My life was so wasted, pretending I loved you. Now that you are out of the picture, there is nothing left for me to do. I am that bird that wants to fly, but doesn’t know how to anymore. Everything that I have known is now gone. I can’t help myself for blaming you. You were the one that broke my wings and trapped me. Now that I have my way out, I want to fly as high as the sky would take me. Sour and feel the world. But you have told me that the world doesn’t like me. You are the only one that would love me. I can see now that your lies were my cage. The only thing that my wings needed, were a little courage, courage to say goodbye, and leave forever. Now that I have that, freedom will be my love.
