I look into the mirror
What do I see?
A beutiful brown girl
That girl is me
I glow like the North Star
I glimmer in the night
People stare at me in shock and awe
My skin so brown and bright
My skin is so pure
So strong and transparent
In my skin you see
My turmoil, peace, past and present
I look into the world of brown skin
What do I see?
A beautiful brown girl
That girl is me.
