Lights
When lights turn black and sky turns gray. My life goes into flames. Your lies spark a flame big enough to burn my life down to the ground. I will fight my way through your B.S. and look towards the the light at the end of the tunnel. My life is nothing but ashes at the bottom of my feet. There is a saying... Life will spring from the ashes of the dead.

This is a great and simple poem . . . just the right amount of detail and good use of language. I don't know if teen ink messed up the formatting, but just always make sure it's in the right format when you send it in so that it looks like a poem. Great job!
