Train
Days can be like a train,
Slowly moving, sluggish.
Staying on the track,
Being on time.
Startling whistles awaken you,
To see the world around you.
Picking up speed,
The day moves by.
Doing well, traveling far,
Day turns to night.
There’s a turn in the road,
But the train moves on.
Almost there,
Starting to slow down again.
Pulling into the station,
And becoming dormant, till-
Till the next day to go on.
