I sip my blazing’ hot green tea
The fire crackles loudly and we all stare
The cabin feels so cozy in this freezing weather
Snow lightly falls outside in the Georgia Mountains
Even with the fire going, we all complain about the coldness
The four of us cuddle together in the middle of the couch with a big old comforter
It’s nearly three in the morning, but the conversation still hasn’t stalled
But I guess that’s how it works
Especially when a long awaited reunion between four siblings’s happen
We laugh and talk about all our crazy adventures
Some in the past and some in the present
We talk of plans for the summer that will never happen
And discuss our insane parents, each taking a turn defending them
The conversation shifts from school to politics to relationships to pissing one another off
But it always ends with the anticipation of the upcoming’ day
Christmas
We each guess what we will receive
But as we think materialist
I’m thinking’ that I received the best presents when I was born
I smile to myself knowing I belong to the best family
God blessed me with three best older siblings in the world
Sure sometimes I want scold them ‘cause they act like five year olds occasionally
And sure she pisses me off when she changes my relationship status on facebook
But no matter what stupid, crazy thing they do
I always laugh, because let’s face it, it’s funny
And there is no better present then them
And they will always be my best friends
The ones I will always run to first
