Invisible You
Can we see the air we breathe
As it washes over us in silken waves,
Bringing life on invisible currents?
And are we as likely to stand in a lightning bolt?
See charges cascading into the sky
And sea sand melting into glass?
When I see you,
When I hear you;
I can feel you,
Rushing, flowing, swirling you,
Pooling around me, drowning my heart.
And you are more than what I see or hear.
