You And ME
As I hear your name I feel the pain. I remember the nights of constant rain. I hear your lies as you look me in the eyes. I believe the things you say, cause they're in disguise. I heard the words I love you but the next day I hide the bruise. I hear the words I'm sorry and like a fool I believe. I didn't understand that I could be free. All I knew was you and me. The pain of lies and tears in my eyes I can't hide. You tell me it's done, we're through. Didn't you know that I loved you? I carry the child of your sin within the womb of my body. Is this all there is? I need you here, but you don't care. As the child slowly dies, you spread around the lies. It's all over, it's the end. The child's gone, but not your sin.
