Should I thank you
Although I might be
Happy with my life
Things I say and write sound
Ever so dreadful
Due to the dark, hideous
Feelings I keep locked up
And hidden within me
BOOM!
My volcano of emotions
Has erupted
Flying ashes, of tears past
Shouting and screaming
But as fast as it happened
It was over
Someone took off the cap
And let this flood of feelings
Come roaring out
I should be mad at them
And yet I thank them
For they’ve helped me
Those old feelings
Are gone
And then new ones come
Not long after
