Just One Dance
I can’t remember your face
I never asked your name
But right now
My mind can’t steer away
From the time you asked me
To dance
I said yes, I’d take a chance
It was only just the one dance
Lasted a minute
But now I am in a trance
I wasn’t your song you said
But we danced
I sound so foolish now
A giggling little freshman girl
This is stupid
But it’s hard to let go
Just one dance at homecoming
My first dance
